Well i jumped the gun on this one i think, I contacted the guy on ebay about it. He bought a 4 slot Big Red and Metal Slug 5, X, 2 and some other MVS carts came with it. I bought it off of him, he had great feedback. But no shots of the inside, so give it to me straight guys...gulp

did you have to send the boot back to him? if you're keeping it, you should cover those exposed holes with tape(to stop sunlight damaging them over time).
a real copy of ms5 usually cost heaps on ebay- ~$100-150.

i am sending the boot back today...yeah i covered em, I , I paid 120 for it, so thankfully i got it all back. He said he too did research last night about boots and didn't realize that there was such a thing.
I just bought one off of here last night for 140....at least now I have all of em and they are all legit

Hah.. You honestly had to ask if that was a boot? My mother would probably know it was one :P

Me being a newb and wondering how could you tell it was a boot? the first thing i noticed is in the first pic, the top row of chips looked funny other than that :) i have no idea. just kinda nice to know what to look out for.

The SNK logos are all wrong, lotsa flux residue all over. The MX chips. These are the things that should not be present.

sometimes you find a legit cart with a couple of MX chips used for a repair job.
