I have a Super Neo Geo AES modded with RGB outputs, how do I hook this up to the RGB monitor in my Super Neo 29 MVS?

I want to make sure the (AES)RGB feature works before I sell it.

Anyone know?

How does these mod look like? Three different jacks ore something? Maybe you can post a pic? Normally RGB out is used through the standard AV Port of the Neo.
Sounds interesting, though :)

It has three different jacks:
1) s-video
2) A/V
3) RGB

I don't have a pic, because its too big to fit on my scanner. But if you look in the neostore they have a pic. Their pic of the system, is similar to my unit. But mine looks nicer. ;)

So the 4 jacks on the left side are or RGB or what?
Never seen a mod like this - I get my RGB through the Standard AV out....

On my unit, the RGB jacks is on the left, followed by A/V out, then S-video out.

Does anyone know how to hook this up to the RGB monitor in my Super Neo 29 MVS?

I've got into some financial difficulties, so this need to go. <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" /> But before I sell it, I need to know if the RGB feature is functional.

It's actually pretty simple. First make sure you know the pin-out of your of the RGB connector on your AES and the RGB on your monitor. The monitor could use a number of different connectors, [db9, scart, Din9, etc.], or it might not have any connector on at all, and just use a molex that goes directly to the five pins on the monitor chassis. First thing you'll need to do is locate the pins on the monitor chassis that you carries the video signal. Now wire up a connector to it. I recommend you use a db9 connector as there cheap and easy to work with. Wire a female db9 to the chassis and make sure you write down what pinout you use. I would recommend you use a pinout like this
1. Red
2. Blue
3. Green
4. Sync
5. Ground

Now you need to biuld the wire to come from the Neo. I'm not sure what connector the RGB mod uses, but I'm pretty sure it's a Male 5-pin din connector. So first fetch yourself a female 5-pin din connector, and also get a male db9 connector. Wire the pins from the 5-pin din connector to the appropriate pins on the db9 male connector based on the same pinout I provided for the monitor. Now if everything is wired up corectly, you should just have to plug the two db9 connectors together and your monitor will display your neo AES. Keep in mind that your monitor might already have a connector in it. You may also be able to wire from the din5 connector directly to your monitor's chassis through a molex connector [I prefer my set up though, as I believe it is less messy.] Anything I mentioned might be incorrect as I have never dealt with the AES RGB mod before and the way based on the way your cab is set up. If anyone wants to correct me please do.
