I bought a SS4 mvs cart and I'm having a problem with some of the fighters distorting when moving. At the select screen and beginning of match the picture is fine but when certain fighters move the pictures become distorted, Kazuki more than others. I have cleaned the cart twice but I'm still having the same problem.

Sounds like one of the ROMs is bad.

Is it an original cart?

I know that with my third party RAM cart for Saturn games will do that, but with the SNK or Capcom original carts they work fine.

Yes, but it would probably be easier and cheaper to just get a new cart. You can burn the bad ROM from the ROM images available on the net, but it would be the problem of determining which one is bad and replacing that ROM. Kind of a hassle if you don't really know what to replace.

Yea, just get a new SS4 cart. They're pretty cheap, like $20-$30, right?

My SS4 cart has some sound and text garbling problems but workd perfect with a lot of re-inserting.

Maybe you should try cleaning your cart more than a couple times. Some of those things are just dirty dirty dirty, and would take more than just a couple tries to really clean 'em.
