System 16 IC needed

Anyone have a spare System 16 MB they would like to give or sell me? Doesnt have to be working, I just need the NEC PCM chip off of it to repair my Prehistoric Isle board. Long story short, game has nice working background music, newly burned sound rom, but the soundfx are missing and replaced with distortion.

Seems that the system 16 boards are the most common source for the IC.

Do they exist on the System 18 boards?

What about some technos boards like combatribes? I'll check my dead boards when I get home in an hour.

Cant seem to find any technos boards that carry it. Heres a photo, its the UPD7759 chip.

Edit: Thank god for closeup photos!!! I feel really stupid, the IC is missing its 640KHz crystal, upper right. I never noticed it before, but you can really tell from the photo that its leg is still dangling there.

Born and raised in Dallas, but live in San Antonio. I'm going through my parts boards and see if I can find one. This frequency doesnt seem very common...

Im prity sure I have a spare or two from the System16 boards I have worked on...I will dig through my spares here in a few and let ya know.

Yup...I have a spare D7759C and a crystal if you need them still...
