Help Please: looking for candy super neo 29 control panel

hey guys, i'm having no luck at all trying to locate a replacement control panel for my super neo 29 candy cabinet. i'm trying to find a control panel that has the six button layout as opposed to the the four button layout.

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

did you email them and ask they can get any type of panel even if its not listed in the store website but you have to ask contact@akihabarashop.jp

yeah, i emailed and asked, but the response back was a bit strange. it was a reply to my email, but it actually didn't say anything, other than just repeating my question to them.

i assumed that meant that they didn't have an answer or the panel.

this has to be the hardest damn control panel to find because there are blast city, impress, and various other panels all over the place. but absolutely nothing on this super neo candy control panel. it's so damn frustrating to want to buy something, have the money to pay for it, but not be able to find it.

and what kills me the most is that i know there are probably thousands of panels sitting around over in japan, and probably plenty of them over at various places in california... but i have no access to them. ugh!

well, so much for that. i'm back to square one.

c'mon, i thought you guys here on this site were the experts on all these things. surely there has to be someone here who can either find this item or at least point me in the right direction.

The last one just ended. He has a 29 control panel on his list of available parts, so you can also email him at his email in that thread and ask him where his source is.

They have group buys over @ Shmups.com for some candy parts. Personally, I've never seen one on here as most try to make a custom one from scratch. This panel always seems to be a hard one to track down. The one on my Hyper was modified from a 4 to a 6 button layout when I got it. Now I'm actually looking for an original CP in nice shape.

In the past I have had the same problem and I just ended up making my own. I have also had a local sheet metal shop make cps for me before. That may the best way to go if you don't want to fool with making your own.
