Mod Chip question for Panasonic Q gamecube

I have a fellow Trusted Trader on another forum I am a member of that wants to know if a Qoob chip will work on his Panasonic Q GameCube. From what he has read, that is the chip - but our system modder does not do that system or have any experince modding it with a chip. The system has already been freed from region lock, now just needs a chip installed for playing backups.

Anyone on here have this experince? Also would need a price to have you do it and I will get you 2 together to do buisness Just let me know

anyone mod these systems?

From what I remember of the Q the motherboard inside is the same as the normal nintendo version and only the optical drive is different, and the hook up points for the mod chip are the same. all the add on options like the modem etc fit in the Q or the Nintendo Cube.
