I was so ticked off when I couldn't even get mine to power on let alone show anything. So I asked around and a lot of people seem to have problems with theirs as well...I could rarely find a person that had a fully functional one. I didn't think it was the lcd control board because it gets the signal to and from the board...just nothing shows on the screen. So I cracked open the entire lcd box..looked around and low and behold...the power pcb:
Now, it looks like an easy fix just a capacitor and that pin assembly.....I guess we will see if it makes a difference. Hope this helps people as it may be a common problem..
