So I am now the proud owner of a Neo 29 and have come up with a few options for it. I have a Big Red with 2 slot and I am thinking of using the Candy for standard Jamma games as well as MVS. How do I go about this? Can I just get a MVS to Jamma adapter and plug it right up? Also, how do I get the 6 button configuration. I know that a kick harness has something to do with it but what do I need exactly?

Just curious, how much did you offer lodown for the cab. He decided to sell it to you without getting a counter offer from me as I was first in line to buy this.

To answer your question you can either buy the MVS to Jamma board from Jammaboards.com or changed the pinouts on the existing harness to Jamma only. There are threads here that explaing on the process. As for the six button config the kick harness is used if the board requires it.

I offered a little more than just cash. Availability and speed i guess. I had to go through a lot to get it though.

Fair enough. It was a real dick move on his part but more power to you. If you don't want to mess with the existing config of the MVS harness you can get the board on the cheap (I think for 20-25).

Screw the adaptor...

Just pop the marquee and rewire it.
1. Take the grounds off of the -terminals.
2. Take the positive lead off of the left speaker and put it on the negative lead of the right speaker(you will probably have to lengthen the wire.).

So with something like the atomiswave, how do I get the 5th button without a kick harness? I was reading it uses the select button but I don't get that.

The select button in the middle of the cp...

That wire is the the first player fifth button for the ATW.... wire it up to one of the buttons in your 6 player panel.

Second player has to have a wire run from the Jamma edge to the CP... The Neo 29's don't have have that button wired.

So how exaclty do I go about doing this? I am about to uy an atomiswave and want to make sure I can use it. It can't just use the kick harness? Also if I use the jamma to mvs adapter will it have the pinout?

Just forget the adapter and wire the speakers for stereo.
