I've been playing my jamma pcbs on my 32" Sony Wega though the s-video port. MVS games is displayed nicely, but for some reason the bottom screen is slightly cutoff on a few of my other games. Namely Outzone, Batrider, and Midnight Resistance. I really have no idea how to fix this. I've read through the TV's manual twice alreay but it doesn't describe how to adjust the size and position of the picture. Even its OSD menu doesn't have the options for it. Any one have experience with these Sony Wega TVs. Any help is appreciated. :)

I'm using 2 different setups here.

Vogatek MkIII + XAV-2s (RGB to s-video)
Vogatek MkII (it uses a AD725 encoder, s-video)

That's a sync problem dude. Sony you can only adjust the picture by about 5% through the service menu and it isn't even noticable.

If you are using S-video I would look for a TV on craigslist in your area that has s-video input and has Vhold and Hhold pots in the back.

I found one in my area but was too late. I was pissed, that would have worked perfectly for SG use for the games that have horrible sync issues.

Is there a name for this TV you missed? Maybe I can find the same one in my area.

I found the service code for the Sony Wega and tried tinkering with the settings. You're right I can only get back a few millimeters of the bottom picture. Still better than nothing I guess.

He never gave me a brand name but from the pic I saw it looked like either a Sharp or Panasonic.
