Hey Folks,

Just picked up an MK1 board and I am having an issue with it. Everything works fine on the board, but the sound board has a heat sink that gets really hot really quick. Is this a normal thing with Midway boards, or is this a problem I need to fix?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Quit using it in your MVS cab before you fry the audio amp chip.

MVS cabs are wired incorrectly for JAMMA audio.

Heatsinks are supposed to get "really hot". Thats the whole point of them.

As long as your speakers are of correct impedance and correctly wired I wouldn't worry about it.

1 . How hot does it get with the volume turned right down. (idle)
2 . Do you hear distortion ?
