UPDATE: The following was caused by using an old revision SNK AC adapter on a newer revision AES. The 5v 3a will not properly power a 200,000 serial or higher AES. I used a Nintendo AC adapter to fix this.

I got 2 AES systems from eBay. One is a low serial JPN model. Put in a unibios and all is good. The other is a US system with a much higher serial. When I turn it on, its a little glitchy, then it clears up to a solid color. The problem is that the color is different every time. It seems to cycle thru all the error colors (brown, green, pink, red, sometimes cyan and blue). So I stuck in a socket and popped in a unibios, same result. The part that has me worried is I popped out the unibios and turned on the AES WITHOUT any bios and still get the exact same results. Should I return this?

Really worried.

Update: Here is a video of what its doing.

I think I have a clue to whats going on. I used my low serial power supply with it. It came with a NES adapter, but I didn't use it since the voltage was different. I just learned that the newer models don't use the 5v 3a adapter. Now when I use the NES adapter, the screen is black and I hear clicking.

It's a good thing it wasn't the other way around.
