Dug out my Primal Rage and i'm getting garbled graphics on it, it was working fine before but i've never tried it on this cab before.

Did all the Ram Rom Tests and they all came out fine, the only thing i have noticed is that the 5 Volt Low light is on but the 5 Volt High is not, could this give me the grabled graphics? I know primal rage is a funny board when it comes to volatges.

Any help appreciated, MKL i'm looking at you :D

Cheers.

Tested my Voltages.

+5 = 5.33

-5 = 4.03

+12 = 11.08

Running an ATX Power Supply i have no idea how to increase the voltages....

Just hooked it up to a jamma supply and adjusted the +5 so both High and Low bulbs were off and still have garbled graphics.

I noticed one of the Roms has it sticker missing, showing the window and allowing light in, could this be the culprit? i covered the window with electrical tape.

Any other ideas?

5.33v is WAY TOO HIGH for the +5v line.

5.25 is MAX... any higher and you risk frying chips.

Well hat was without a board connected with a board connected it was like 5.05, and the primal rage board still says its low....
