Repaired SS3- AES mode?

Can anyone tell me why my repaired SS3 only works in arcade mode? If I set it to AES mode, it just freezes up at the intro screen. Maybe the fix was only intended to make it work in an arcade machine?

according the unibios website, games like SS4,SS5,SS5sp can have problems running in console mode.

Might need to check with Raz, didn't someone have a similar problem with 3.0 with MSX or something like that, I may be mistaken.

I haven't had problems with this on SS3, at least not on earlier version of the Unibios.
