Possible? I can mod the home console ever so slightly to allow the cart to fit. Also, I am no stranger to advanced soldering. With a Unibios 2.3 and a lot of time / effort I wonder if this is possible. Has this been done or is there more to it than the pin layout?

I have 2 AES systems and no games.

There is a thread around here with a MVH-1C housed in a AES console - nice job too.

It would be near impossible to hack a home system to accept MVS carts without having the converter exposed.

It's probably possible, but very hard to do- there would also be space problems in putting an MVS slot where an AES slot used to be, (apart from the technical problems)- so the MVS slot might need to be put on a separate PCB to the AES motherboard. There is a photo of a 2-slot MVS board modified so that one slot in an AES slot(on KPJ's site- neotropolis.com). So you might ask him about it- the website says it's just a prototype anyway, so I don't know how well it works. But from an engineering point of view, it's probably easier to get an AES cart to work on an AES slot on an MVS board, than an MVS cart on an MVS slot on an AES board.
I can't see why you'd want to do it that way, when you can just put an MV-1C inside an AES shell.

MVS to AES converters --> MVS Slot in an AES --> MVS Board in an AES shell

Looks like the Neo scene's come a ways now hasn't it?
