Lets give this another try...

So, I have a Street Fighter Alpha 2 arcade I bought a few years ago. I guess I just liked the idea of having it, but soon after I bought it, it just pretty much stayed there and collected dust. The cab is in good condition and everything on the cab works great. Hopefully I can find someone on here that'll take this off my hands as I could use the extra cash.

Looking to get $200 for it, Will Also consider trading it with $125 for a PS3

Local pick up only..

Alright, finally got around to taking pics of the machine. Needs some cleaning as its been sitting there untouched for quite a while, but everything still works great on it. The Sticks have been the same since i bought it a few years back.

I'm in Chicago. No idea where in IL your town is, lol

Is the control panel metal or wood? It looks wood, but I may be mistaken.

Yeah, The control panel is Wood with pexiglass over it on top.

and well... 100bucks is kinda retarded. Might as well keep it if i were gonna let it go for only a hundred bucks.

I guess it's time for me to be a dick, then... but I really don't mean to. I could actually see this selling for 100. It's not lowballing, it's just that the cab needs work with paint and chips, it doesn't' actually have a real bezel, needs a new cpo, the side art is messed up, the glass is scratched. And that's just what I can tell from the pics. There's no telling how the monitor looks without pics, and that most likely needs to be replaced. What about the marquee light? What about the actual game itself? Phoenixed? Working? Maybe it's battery is about to explode all over that board for all anyone knows. So, 100 isn't all that unreasonable.

I don't think he was trying to be a jerk, I think he was giving a real offer.

Also, I don't think it was an asshole thing to offer $100 for it. It WAS an asshole thing to offer it outside of a PM though.

Given the things pointed out on the cab. I'll be willing to let it go for $200. If anyones interested. Let me know.

And as for selling the board... well, im not really tryna sell it in pieces yet..trying to see if i can get rid of the whole thing first.


The Marquee light works, same for the game. The battery was replaced in 05 on the game. I havent used it very much...maybe about 6hrs total gameplay on it since i got it.

Just what I was thinking. AVP or some other CPS2 3 player. Someone needs to buy it and convert it back. ;) The world needs more multiplayer cabs.
