I recently picked up a MV-1FZ. For some reason it will not recognize the 4th button for player 2. I was wondering how I might fix this?

2nd that. If you are using a standard harness it probably doesn't have the wiring for the 4th button.

Presumably it recognises P1 button 4, in which case it is more likely to be a faulty switch or the connector has come off.

have you checked the continuity of the switch, is it making contact.
Do you have a multimeter ? if not, switch the connection to another switch and see if that works. Does button 4- P2 work on any other boardset you may have ?
