Looks legit to me. Maskroms that aren't MX are typically an indication of a legit cart.

Both look legit, the only way to know for sure with carts like PB that generally have EEPROM(s) is to inspect the soldering.

Some legit PB/BAM carts have eproms

I went through this same thing not long ago. Bought a Bust A Move cart and upon inspection noticed eproms. Before this experience, I always thought that eprom = boot. But on this occasion, I was wrong. The experts on the forum told me that SNK did put out some Puzzle Bobble carts with eproms to speed up the manufacturing process. I also noticed that your cart has Toshiba chips in the rest of the slots on the program board. This usually is a sure sign that the cart is legit. Like previously stated on the boards, beware MX and the like. Hope this helped..TLH
