I have tons of backup games that I acquired from a friend, now all I need is to flash my 360, I want to know who does this on these forums?

I can do it if it's not a lite-on. If it's Hitachi, the latest firmwire isn't out yet, so you have to be EXTRA careful.

Don't ne logged into live when running backups, you can get banned if someone else is using the same file and is on live.

No, with iXtreme 1.5, it only plays games that are stealth checked, and it adjusts jitter values on the fly. As long as the game is a retail copy, a good kreon rip, and you play it AFTER the game is released, there should be no problems.

It's not that I can't, it's just it's a pain in the ass.

You need a special tool to read the drive's code manually off of the drive, you can't it obtain via hookup. An Xbox's drive contain an individual code, which is why you can't just swap your drive for a new one, unless you get the drive keys. Then once you have it you need to completely erase the firmwire on the drive, only then can you connect.

Until someone finds an easier way, many people prefer just to either buy another drive and "spoof" it (marry it to the xbox) or just not flash them at all.

You have no idea! I can try to explain the process, but at this point, the chances of doing are it nill, you have to be channelmaniac to even attempt it.
