JAMMA audio question.

Pretty stupid, but I never really thought about it. Are all JAMMA cabinets with 2 speakers just running dual channel mono? Specifically candies like Astro Cities etc...?

Yes, most I have encountered are.

It really depends on the board inside more than anything. CPS2 and MVS and many other boards have stereo outputs. Cabs with those in them will be wired differently.

Candies usually have their speakers wired to molex connectors so you can hook up an amp or anything else that may be neccessary.

Ok, I've got a cab I wired up with an old dynamo jamma harness. Currently there is only one speaker hooked up. Would it be safe to wire up the other one in parallel without the use of an amp? Or could that overload game pcbs?
