I am selling my homemade consolized MV-1C. It looks a little ghetto, because I put it together in less than a day from some scrap wood and plexi lying around the house. I never got around to making a top cover. It is still 100% functional and very portable. I keep it in my car for neo gaming at other people's houses!

It is equipped with a JROK encoder that ouputs NTSC component, S-video, and composite. You'll also notice an HD15 connector on the back. That is direct RGB video from the neo board. This is for using an HD15 to BNC cable on professional video monitors. AC adapter is included, of course. No controllers included. Bios is asia v3 (same as europe).

Asking $300 shipped!

Looks as though the harness was damaged in your consolization process......

Also no uni bios?

Yea i dont' think it's really worth 300. I'd maybe take it for 200 considering the condition it's in. The lack of Unibios (which is almost a mandatory feature in a consolized system) and the case it's in kind of diminishes the value. It's also too bad you weren't able to salvage the JAMMA connector for connection to a cab (some of us like to go both ways - cab or TV).

Yeah if the JAMMA edge is unusable, there's no UniBIOS and considering the case, I also think it's worth $200 shipped.

Could have sworn there was a pic of the inside of the box, I don't think you're going to sell this thing andy. >.>

Well, I don't know how sell-able this is right now, but from an electronics standpoint it looks pretty clean. You soldering looks very good quality, just needs some more case work. If you had a friend who knows wood working give you a hand you could make this into a pretty killer CMVS. The MV-1C has alot of possibilities. As a suggestion, if you aren't going to save the Jamma edge (which is OK, it's a design choice) you may want to configure the unit so it's fully enclosed and finished. Nice looking case is the real selling point on these, IMO, because it protects the unit from damage and makes it alot more usable for everyday players. UniBios is also not as key as some people will tell you, depending on the audience. I for one prefer to not have the UniBios because it's not as arcade friendly and it's not the same as I remember the arcades. Plus it eliminates all possibility of cheating if I don't have one.

I think the majority of people have embraced a Unibios. There are a lot of MVS games out there that really do need it like some Japanese only games, and especially games that have certain features like blood turned off. If you don't want to cheat, then just don't, but it's good to have the option. I do agree that having an enclosed case for this kind of board is worthwhile (not just for the sale, but for protection, among other things), especially if it's consolized.

I'm selling it as is because I lost interest in my consolization process. I have so many cabs, and no use for playing neo on a TV.
