Well I have the cabinet I want. Now I just have to find a way to get it up and running. So it is time to let go some other cabinets to make space as I would like a bit of my home back.

So I've listed it before but I'll put it up once again.

I've a 4 slot big red with a new, out of the box monitor (monitor+shipping was about 400.) The cab is in great condition and I've lots of pictures of it. I can even throw in come common carts. It really needs a new home. The cab is in such nice condition I hate to see it go to anyone other than a neo fan, but I need the cash and the space more than the cabinet.
I've spent over 1200 on this so far, way way too much money. New montor, sticks and buttons working el marquee.
I'm up for offers but I would like to get about 600 out of it. I could part it out for about that I believe. The biggest problem is there is a tear in the black near the bottom on one side, not very big, and then the rusty on the cp, and the security lock. They could all be fixed fairly easy.

Next I've a crummy condition six slot. There are no speakers and the monitor seems okay from what little play I've given it to test. The board has the sound messed up but it works if you take it from the unamplified part, as that is how it was. The guy I got it from had some computer speakers wired in and wanted to keep them. Anyhow feel free to ask about this one I need it out of the way and would like to get 200 for it.

The cps2 18 in 1 is sold out of the cab. So for the cab alone with the extra cp I am looking for around 650. - sold Thanks

(The New Astro City cabinet is running a 18 in 1 cps 2 board in the picutres there. I'll be happy to answer any questions you would like to ask about this setup. I would like to get 1k out of it as it is. The worst feature here is the yellowed plastic and if you look at the monitor right you can see the word, "Demonstration" burned in. Other than that it is a very solid setup. It is kind of hard to get ahold of these cabinets where I am for some reason.. humm... Kentucky of all places.
Also I have a 1 player 6 button nos cp with overlay for this that will go with it.)

This is a solid Dynamo cab. Weighs a whole lot and no fun to move. It needs some love but other than the cosmetic it is pretty good. The monitor looks nice as well. I've a cps2 setup that I can pop in with marquee and bezel and turn it back into xmen cota. All you will need is the controls, I may have them too or at least some I can give the buyer. I would like 200 out of it as well.

on a side note, if anyone knows where I can get me some parts to fix my cab, like a monitor or such let me know. I'm working on this bad boy here.

Sorry for being off topic, but how are those 18-1 cps2 boards anyhow? I was always intrigued by them, but haven't seen them running in real life.

Well no worries. I guess you'll hear different answers from different people, but really so far every game I've owned is just the same on this setup. They are the phoienx version of the roms of each of the games. I've not had any issue with mine but I have been told of other people with hardware problems, though I guess that is possible with anything.

As for the way it is set up, at least it is done so that it would not work well on a location. You have to bring up the menu by holding the 1p start button for a little while. You can move through the menu with the stick and then when you find a game you wish to play, just credit the system. I've got a jar of quarters I keep there for that and just been using the cab as a big piggy bank. Once you coin up you push start and it reboots into the game you want. If you want to change the settings you can use the test menu in each game and it retains all the settings.

Also when you boot up a game you can hold the test button and enter the menu for the phoenix rom and change the region and that stuff. The two D&D games use four buttons, but one uses button 4 on the jamma and the other uses the 4th button on the kick harness. I've got them wired up to the same button in this cab. Because none of the other games use that button 4 on the jamma it does not ground back and cause any problems. If I were to add a credit button I would not need to keep putting in my quarters in, but then again I may end up spending them so I guess it is better the way it is.

Let me know if you want to know more or want some pictures of it working or such.I am able to do video with my camera but am not sure how to upload it

I would love to have that Astro City. I'd have to get rid of a cab to squeeze that into my gameroom!
