Well....i received one MV-1C today....and its working fine....But when i active DIP_1 the system dosen't go to the setup mode....just i got a black screen...as fast i turn dip_1 OFF the system reboot and works perfectly.....

So why the DIP_1 dosent active the bios setup ???

Is the original bios problem ???Or another thing ???

Make sure to have the machine /board off when flipping the dip switches, then turn it on..

I've never flipped a dip switch on and off with a machine boards powered on..as far as I know the machine has to be off when flipping dip switches..unlike the test switch..

That is incorrect, DIP switches are designed to be used with the board running.

I tryed the two things..... :oh_no:

1- System off, turn the dip_1 ON and turn the board ON......i got only a black screen...the system only start if i turn the dip_1 OFF

2- System running normal....i pressed the dip_1 to ON and the system again goes to black screen...

Any other thing ??? :conf:

Both are actually correct. If the test mode is run via DIP switch, the game can be on or off. If the game settings are involved (usually older games) then the DIP switches can be changed while on however in most cases you must power the game off then turn it on for the changes to hold. That applies when you change the settings while you're NOT in test mode as in most test modes, resets the game when you exit them.

Sounds like corrupt backup RAM.

It's funny the things a system will do if the backup RAM is full of garbage settings!
