Hi - I've been searching the forums to try and find an answer to this, but I haven't found quite what I wanted. I would like to use a Neo Geo AES stick on my PC/Laptop via USB. Is there a convertor I can buy - or that someone here would sell me to do this?

I found one that called a Joy USB which had the right kind of connector on it, but it said it was for analogue joysticks only.

What do people think of the Dreamcast arcade stick compared to the Neo Stick or a decent PS2 Arcade stick? I have a couple but I am not an expert, it seems pretty good though. Maybe I could connect one of these to my PC. I like the way on the AES stick that the buttons click though.

Thank you very much :)

You could always buy a cheap USB PC game controller with the same number of buttons as the NEO stick, rip it apart and run wires to each of the buttons on it, then run those into a 15 pin connector, and then you have a NEO -> USB converter.

There are plenty of cheap Playstation to USB converters that work well enough if you already have a Playstation arcade stick. The only problem is quite a bunch of them have a very slight delay that is only really noticeable in things like... fighting games.

Ah no - I have a couple of Dreamcast Arcade sticks - I was thinking I could use one of these - since I think you can probably buy convertors for these. How do you find out which convertors have lag - before you buy them?

Thanks for the help - but I don't want to do any work like that myself. I was looking to buy a convertor really.

you can use a Neo Geo stick 2 and a PS2->USB converter. but probably a good arcade stick with more buttons is the way to go for PC.

I am not sure if there is a neo-geo to USB convertor, but if not I could make you one using the PCB method someone else just mentioned, I would hack a USB pad and connect it to a Db-15 connector you could plug your neo sticks into. It might be expensive to ship to you in the UK though.
