I'm new to this forum, but I used to spend a lot of time on the Neo*Geo DHP list back in the 90s (posted as Ukyo(Travis)). I recently unretired my Neo*Geo AES systems only to find out one had no sound and the other had messed up video. They are out for repair now (thanks to channelmaniac). I can't wait to get them back. I just purhcased SNK Vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos and I really want to play it with both good graphics and good sound. :)

I see a lot has changed since I left the scene. I'm just glad to see the Neo*Geo is living on and there are plenty of dedicated fans around the world.

There may be some of you still around that remember me from the DHP days. I worked with the local guys in Atlanta, GA to setup what we called the Neo*Geo Shodown. We held it at GA Tech 2 or 3 years and were able to pull in players / collectors from Georgia to Illinois and a few from as far away as California. I see names like Jeff Kurtz and BigBear (who's actual name I have forgotten) are still here. Wow! Memories...

Anyway, just wanted to make my first post and say "Hi". I don't have much to add since I've been gone so long, but I"m sure that will change. :)

Thanks for the reply. I picked Ukyo a long, long time ago (around 1993). Jump over to the archives of the DHP Neo*Geo mail list and do some digging if you are actually curious. I don't see a need to change it now. :)

Err... thanks for the reply. :)

Having watched the Neo scene build up and then nearly fall apart at the hands of Dion Dakis and Chris Ray, it's good to see that it survived. I've been away too long...

Wow, talk about deep into the DHP past. I think I remember your username back then but I didn't post on the DHP till late in 99. Some peeps are around, but 95% of the people on the forums are of a different (new) breed. Bobak, DolphinLord, Billy Pitt, they'are all around.

Sincerely,

Mikhail

Does anyone know if Pedro Colman-Arrellaga and Steve Kidwell are still around, or am I digging way too deep in the Neo community history?
