I'm new to this forum, but I used to spend a lot of time on the Neo*Geo DHP list back in the 90s (posted as Ukyo(Travis)). I recently unretired my Neo*Geo AES systems only to find out one had no sound and the other had messed up video. They are out for repair now (thanks to channelmaniac). I can't wait to get them back. I just purhcased SNK Vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos and I really want to play it with both good graphics and good sound.
I see a lot has changed since I left the scene. I'm just glad to see the Neo*Geo is living on and there are plenty of dedicated fans around the world.
There may be some of you still around that remember me from the DHP days. I worked with the local guys in Atlanta, GA to setup what we called the Neo*Geo Shodown. We held it at GA Tech 2 or 3 years and were able to pull in players / collectors from Georgia to Illinois and a few from as far away as California. I see names like Jeff Kurtz and BigBear (who's actual name I have forgotten) are still here. Wow! Memories...
Anyway, just wanted to make my first post and say "Hi". I don't have much to add since I've been gone so long, but I"m sure that will change.
