Wei-Ya chassis help!! No blue on start up???

Hi folks. I'm having trouble with a wei ya chassis of mine. I can't remember the model number off hand, but its the one that comes stock in the Atomiswave sitdown cabinet.

Every time I power up, the Blue is at a minimum. I can go into the back and adjust the Blue Drive on the neckboard. After this the picture looks fine. The next time I turn the machine on though, the blue is gone and I have to go to the back of the cab again.

I've just recently got the chassis back from a repair shop. It was having distortion issues after warm up. Its still under warranty, so I think I can send it back if need be. I'm hoping someone will have a quick fix for me though that will save me the trouble. It wouldn't surprise me if they held it for six months.

Sorry, but you can't do anything about it. Many trouble including like yours occurs often,so suddenly, even if it's bran-new so, no way to fix it completely. wei-ya "29 monitor pcb used on atomis cab. is defective merchandise, we call it.

I recomend you to change to different crt, sooner or later.

The only thing you can do is to take the monitor to a TV repair shop and have them check the emission of the CRT on a CRT tester. If it's good then it's a chassis problem... if it's not, the tube is bad and needs replacing.

I'm thinking tube problem with the symptoms you are describing.

You might want to try over at arcadeotaku.com. They have some guys that are pretty good with monitors over there.
