So, I almost just sent this off to channelmaniac without trying to solve it myself, but then I realized that maybe I can fix this board. So I have this two slot board, and it gives me garbage data, like in this video, when I try and run a game on it:

The test screen comes up OK, although the top of it has the same weird issue that the games do, where each line does not line up with each other.

There is nothing obviously wrong with the board, as you can see here:

I am running this in a JAMMA cab, using a JAMMA -> MVS converter. The converter runs just fine on my 4-slot board.

I have yet to do the most obvious, clean the board. I just spent a while cleaning a World Heroes 2 Jet cart, so I was going to hold off on cleaning the 2-slot.

So any tips on this? Or should I just say screw it and send it off to channelmaniac?

Clean the slots... Look for bent pins on the LSPCA2 chip... check for gouged traces on the bottom of the board... That's what I'd look for first.

My first AES had that problem and it turned out to be a bent pin on some chip touching another pin or something.
