I bought this unit about a year ago from a japan seller on ebay; the unit worked great out of the box, but after my first gameplay session, one of the sound FX channels went out. The games still played fine, but with only the music tracks, no FX. I just turned the unit on again this morning to test it out, but it was having trouble booting a cd. I'm not sure if this is the drive or lens going, or if this is just a loose solder somewhere on the board.
This is a great unit for someone who can make the repair, or someone wanting to make their loose cd unit more complete. AGAIN, THIS IS A NON-WORKING UNIT
