I was curious if anyone had a working nintendo vs board and would help me test the jamma adapter I picked up from Mike's arcade. I am not getting any sound out of it from my super mario bros board and would like to test it against a known working board.

Alternately if someone has a vs. cab they would be willing to test the board for sound output, that would help as well.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply, do you have a jamma cab? I think the easiest thing to do would be to send my adapter if you wouldn't mind testing it. If you dont have access to a jamma cab, then I will send the board to you.

what do the boards go for? I'm not using mine and could just sell you mine instead....save us both the trouble. If it works then you're taken care of. If it doesn't then you have a spare.

I have about 8 JAMMA cabs and Super Mario vs system, too... so if you need someone to test a board/adapter still, let me know.

I saw one go for 70 on ebay, pm me with how much you want for it. If mine doesnt work I would definitely be interested.

so its fixed?

No, not exactly. I can tell you that it took some messing around with on the converter board to get it to work at all. I think Ben is trying to figure out what was at fault: the converter or the game. I think I found that the converter does in fact work, but with some playing around... so, hopefully he doesn't have to buy another Mario after all.
