Unibios for other systems? (ST-V, F3, etc)

So I finally took the plunge and purchased a Unibios from Raz and it is, of course, awesome.

I am curious as to if the same concept for the Neo could be utilized for some of the other classic cartidge based systems? It would be awesome to have region switching capabilites and a cheat database for the ST-V...even moreso if it could defeat region protection on cartridges. Not even sure if its possible, but if anyone could do it, it would be Raz.

cheat database for F3, Hyper64, etc... lots of possibilites.



PS: yes I know multi-bios exist for ST-V...just looking for a little more than simply region switching the bios).

There's no point for the F3 system. It's already region free in the hardware. It's like the Super Nintendo in that it has a physical lockout (plastic tabs).

I think I remember seeing st-v motherboards with bios mods for sale at jammaboards.com, if I'm not mistaken.

Cheat Database, jukebox, etc....

That is only a way to change from one bios to another...doesn't do anything for region code protection or of course...cheats database.

I don't use the cheat database or jukebox, in fact the only thing I use the unibios for is start+abc reset or pause during game, which is nice. I have a 1.3 still hehe because none of the new features I need.

I guess if I was playing more 2 player I'd put it in home mode for proper 2vs fighting so that you could change character each fight, but I always prefer to have my cabs in MVS mode.

I had a 2.3 in my home system for a while.

and yes, it is a fantastic piece of work.
