I got my board today and i was starting to try to clean it up and noticed this.

I'm assuming this is bad. I haven't taken it up yet with the ebay seller thought i'd ask you guys about it. here are a couple of more pictures.

for $25 I guess you got a good deal still, if it works 100% I wouldn't worry about it.

I hooked it up and turned it on with out a cart in it. and i got a checkerboard screen is that normal?

WOO HOOO it works fine. I'm a little gun shy after all of the problems i've had with my KI1 board. Played samurai shodown 3 for a while.

anyone know where i can find instructions on hooking up the 4th button?

thanks for the help and suggestions.

oh also at HardMVS the instruction manual was only the jamma/mvs harness layout unless i got it from the wrong spot.

I saw that my jamma connector has the 25th spot empty. where can i find the inserts? can i pick any up at radio shack?

That's actually a very reliable motherboard and the seller is pretty top shelf in his business practices.
