The title sums it up.

It's been a while since I started reading on neo-geo.com, browsing through the price guides, the master list, the reviews, etc... to try not to goof while trying to buy MVS games. Then one day I thought, well, why not register to this fabulous community forum ? ( shameful easy flattering inside).

I've got two 16x9 Rit Legno (Intervideo) cabs waiting for me to restore them (got them in a lot for cheap) just before finding THE cab I was looking for from the start : a 4:3 30" Globetrotter MVS Rit Legno cab. Unfortunately still not bought due to some communication difficulties with the arcade seller that owns it, but I hope it's for soon.

I nevertheless got a slot-4, three slot-2s (don't ask why, I don't know myself), and a dozen MVS carts among which 2 or 3 full kits. Just waiting to be plugged...

I try to keep this going forward parallel to day-to-day routine (you certainly know what I'm talking about) and hope I'll manage to play my carts before the end of 2009 (not pessimistic, just realistic ;) )

So hello all and : neo-geo rules !

Oh, btw, I'm from France, just FYI (go on, you can flame if you want).

Welcome!

Could you post a picture of the Globetrotter MVS Rit Legno? Never seen (or heard) of those, and their web page doesn't show them either.

Welcome to the forums! People here are not nearly as flame-happy as you might expect. :)

Thanks !

Thanks, guys.

About the globetrotter, it looks like a rit legno 16x9 but in 4:3.
Although I met several 16x9 (quite fequent in Europe at some time), I had a hard time finding information about the globetrotter and I first saw one for real last year.

Here are some links to pictures. You may be more lucky by searching gevin intervideo globetrotter on the net.

http://www.hardmvs.com/images/conversions/i-1_B_LL.jpg

http://www.romscanner.com/arcade.htm (scroll down a bit and don't go to the main site, it's really crappy).

http://jeux-video-billard-depannage-jeu-video-tarbes-pau.acdc-jeux.com/occasions.htm (which happens to be where I can buy one :D )

I like the old fashioned 80ish "futuristic" cab because I played on 16x9 which looks the same, but this one is best because of the 4:3 screen, and oh, yes, it exists in different sizes up to 30" !

I can't wait to get one.
