Just depends but if the replacement monitor is an arcade monitor then it shouldnt be too hard to rewire. At the end of the day the JAMMA needs RGB, Video Sync and Video ground and so does the monitor.

So as long as your replacement is an arcade monitor, wiring the JAMMA to the monitor RGB,Sync,Ground lines wont be hard at all. They're usually clearly labelled on the Monitor's chassis board anyway.

Go go go! Get that MVS back up and running!

like another post here this monitor comes originally from a midway game, almost all midway games from 1996 to 2001 were medium resolution-some were fitted with dual sync monitors but most were not so be careful as a med res will not work with jamma
ask the seller the actual model number of the monitor chassis(not the tube number) and cross reference it with the manufacturer specs or ask me

the last you want is to spend money on something that will not work with your system

here's some pictures. he doesn't state what the model is but it looks like the rgb leads are pretty easy to spot. The seller says it's a WG 2156288 but a quick google search didnt turn up anything.

as for the ELU's , coudn't you apply current to the individual leads to determine if they're good or not? My inverter seems to be good so i wouldn't need one.

i can not id this 100%,it is either a k7500 or a u5000
the u5000 is switchable between 15khz and 24khz,the k7500 is 24khz only

ken leyton on byoac/klov will know the answer to this also if you phone wells gardner they will match that model number the chap gave you

It looks like he had that hooked up to a PC, so it's likely he's using a J-PAC on it. Ask him if he jumpered the J-PAC for 15khz or 24khz. If he's using a J-PAC and he didn't change the jumpers from default, then it's likely a dual-res monitor and you should be good to go. MVS only supports 15khz (standard res) so if it's 24khz only, you can't use it.
