Humming noise coming from my Ibara PCB.

Lately I've noticed my Ibara PCB is outputting a pretty shrill hum when powered on. Everything seems to work great, no graphics or sound issues with the game itself, but the noise coming out of the board just has me curious.

Any ideas?

Indeed, and I'd do it again. Those claws aren't that sharp.

Thanks for the advice Kern, unfortunately I don't have a multimeter to check. Thankfully though, since I turned the cab back on tonight I haven't had any issues with the noise coming from the board. If my +5 is a bit high is there a good risk of damaging my board? Apart from the sound I never had any other kinds of issues with the game.

.. and you're illiterate.

@DP, you could always try the board in another cab and see if it whines, if its stopped I guess you can ignore it, I would pick up a cheap multimeter though and measure the +5 anyway, they are less than $10. If your +5 is too high you can damage the board, but I doubt its 'too high' as such.

Cool Kern, thanks a lot for the info. I'll definitely end up picking one up in the near future.
