EDIT: Wait, neither of the two mentioned cabs have monitors. Not absolutely unbelievable, but a free original NEO-GEO cabinet is pretty sweet, just needs a monitor, PCB and controls. Prolly some mini-marquees too. =/

Looks to be in outstanding good condition for a freebie. Usually expect those to look beat to hell.

I just missed a 4 slot Big Red on teh Syracuse Craigslist... Somebody got it before my girl noticed it and called the guy.....

No monitor in that one either... Not so sure about PCB/wiring. Nice shape tho.

Meh, even though it's free the cost of the parts and labor to get it to what you want, it would be cheaper to buy a used working cab w/monitor.

i get all that stuff cheap or free

New Monitor 50$ with purchase of old beat up cab
New CPO not needed unless your a total freak
Sticks/Buttons free with broken down cabs
Multi Slot Mobo 50 bucks on ebay or free if your lucky like me
Marquee 25$ on ebay

i got my 1 slot for 80$ with three games that way

Hmmm. . . That sounds like a LOT of luck.

Old, beat-up cabs can mean old, beat-up monitors
No CPO would look terrible
Broken down cabs = Broken down sticks/buttons
4 slot mobo run around $125 after shipping. $100 if you're lucky.

This cab is great for someone who might have an extra monitor laying around. If that were the case, you could make this look mint for very little.

i just went and picked up a commando cab for 50$ yesterday with a perfect monitor good sticks and buttons and working pcb

it was in a beat to crap tron cab

last week i got a tiger heli and a ataxx machine bolth in ms pac cabs for 150 everything was in 100% working order excpt tiger heli neddds a cap kit

you just need to know where to look for parts cabs

i also have a guy i can get gutted cabs from with fully working cp's with buttons for free or up to 50$ depending what els is in the cab

here is my 1 slotter before

and now with only a 80$ total investment and a little elbow grease


so if you know where to look then its not to much to go get a old empty cab and revamp it


there have been 3 4 slots sold on ebay in the past month for under 60$ in working order just watch out for auctions ending late a night and stay up late to get them

i wish the free cab was not so far away or id already have bolth of the ones he is giving away here and ready for a board

Agree with you 100% discgolfer. That cab just needs a little love and time, I'd pick it up if I had more room. I'm sure it will find a good home.
