I have a US MVS 4-25 version2. Does anyone know for sure how big the holes in the cp are?

The tired old crapppy buttons and sticks have to go, but if the holes are US standard 1.125 inches/28mm I'm screwed for using Sanwa or Seimitsu 24mm/30mm buttons. If the HAPP competition buttons are good enough that's fine too.

As long as they're not concave anymore, heh...

Yes, they are US standard size 1 1/8". If you can find a 30mm step drill, you can make the holes bigger...

Thanks... Anyone have a strong enough opinion on the difference between HAPP competition buttons and Sanwa buttons that would sway me towards drilling larger holes?

30mm is 1.181 inches
1-1/8" is 1.125 inches.

.056.

you could use a file for something like that. theres not enough there to use a punch. a step drill is the best bet, but its probably the hardest of the tools to find.

i dont really prefer one button over the other. i prefer concave happs to their convex ones, but i dont not like sanwa or seimitsu either.

though i have woodies and candies so i prefer to have different setups on each.
