sup dudes... I am going to be picking up Cali's Canary and I really dont need more then 2 cabinets these days so I have decided to let go of my Egret 2 cabinet.
This was in the first batch of Egret 2 cabinets that matsu got and was one of the best ones (in my opinion) The monitor is flawless, zero burn in or geometry issues and honestly the cleanest colors I have ever seen in a cabinet. It has a Toshiba tube and a nanao chassis on the Egret rotating mechanism. Great for someone with room for only one cabinet who wants to play both hori and vert games.
I picked the cabinet based on the quality of the monitor and this one had a neo-geo style button layout. Matsu would not swap panels on it so I ended up using a hole punch and added the 3 buttons on both P1 and P2 sides. It turned out perfectly lined up without any mess ups or accidents. This panel can therefore be used as a neo-geo button layout or 6 button CPS cabinet. It still has the neo-geo button wiring as well underneath. The buttons and sticks are all Sanwa and fully working.
Cabinet also includes the hard to find marquee along with it with no cracks or blemishes on it to speak of. I am also including the taito hand wipes that are given out at the taito arcades in Japan along with the gum wrapper origami egret that some chick made during a tournament a few years ago. yippee.
The bulb is currently burned out in the marquee ballast... just never got around to finding a new bulb for it but I put a new starter (FG-1E) in it last month as these seem to be getting harder to find individually.
Please note that none of the Third strike artwork or game are included in the sale price. Price is for the cabinet and marquee only.
Price is set at 1100.00. Will accept only cash on pickup, no paypal or Money Orders. Sorry. If someone is interested in shipping the cabinet that is fine with me, we can work out payment details. I can be around to help wrap and load the cabinet but ultimately all shipping arrangements need to be assumed by the buyer, as does the risks associated with shipping the cabinet. I would suggest paying for insurance if anyone decided to have it shipped.
