Just killed another one... for some reason they're all gravitating towards the Hyper forum. I must admit this is an amusing situation. Also, spambots have apparently gained patience to wait out the moratorium.

It is sort of like a self-inflicted exile.

The reason they gravitate there is that they think not enough traffic would spot them out, so they can leave the link there, and pray it doesn't get removed. If the link stays, search engines will eventually pick it up and increase the site ranking for the linked site. I highly doubt that they expect any of us to ever buy from their site, but rather that the site would get a better search result ranking on google.

Interesting, certainly plausible

You would think at certain forums though it would be better to post in an extremely high traffic page where the post would be buried pages down in a matter of an hour if no one replied to it.

Why don't we just fold the Hyper section into somewhere else at this point. It really doen't need to exist any longer.

It is a good forum to keep for the Hyper 64 enthusiasts. It provides a good reservoir of info.

All two of you?

Seriously, I'm sure there isn't *that* much information in the threads that we couldn't compile into a Wiki entry or something.

How about we compile everything in the Hyper Forum and transfer it to a Wiki and move the hyper forum in to Market and rename it to the Arcade Market.

Why would we move it into Market? It would make more sense to move it into General or Arcade.

You could move it to Arcade Central as a Sub Market. But it would make more sense for an arcade buying and selling forum to be in Market like the others.

The Hyper64 section isn't a buying and selling forum.....

True.
Could be more organized, though.
Fighting forum
Racing forum
Shooter forum

It'd be much easier to find info then.
