Can anyone tell me if this SS3 is a repair job(SNK repair job?). The same chips are replaced as the cart on boredstu.com.

Legit. Usually those color markings are legit. Cover up those windows.

cover them up with tape? what happens if u don't?

Those chips are erased by UV light. Even though some may say it's unlikely the sunlight will erase it, why not protect your investment in case someone is wrong, right?
