I have an original Donkey Kong cabinet that I'm trying to get working. It mostly does already but the monitor is in pretty nasty shape. The left side is all distorted (sort of skewed down). Here's a pic of the problem (phone pic, sorry) and a pic of the info on the back of the monitor. I've already tried the adjustment pots but they didn't help anything. The colors are mostly right but they are a little dim (brightness is turned all the way up).

Any ideas on what's going on here?

Sanyo 20EZ if it's the original.

You should throw a cap kit in it and try to balance out the colors. If it's still dim you may need to have the tube checked and possibly rejuvenated.

Maybe a case of adjusting the grey scale

Try increasing the red and blue video gain (obviously green is OK), before replacing caps.
