2 mvs 1 slot ?

ok i just finished my cab and its up and runng
my 2 ? are
my board has the controller ports on it what are these for can i use them (like can i purchase a wired controller so i can sit on my couch and play instead of my hard bar stool lol)

would it hurt to install a second speaker in the cab and just loop it to the first one (no stero sound still mono but mabey get a little more even sound)

The controller ports are for exactly what it sounds like. Plugging in a controller wired for Neo Geo's pinout.

Does your board have stereo on the PCB connector? If so, you might want to try that, otherwise there shouldn't be any issues with a 2nd speaker.

my cab is wired standard jamma so i dont think i can do stereo
as for the controllers are there any ones i can just purchase off the net that will work
if not where would i find the right plugs for the sockets so i can wire up my own

If you're talking about this MVS, you have stereo out through the 4 pin connector next to the dips and a mono/stereo switch right above the speaker pot. You just have to connect the right speaker to that connector and you're set.

the board says mv-1ft on it tho mabey a later revision

OMG I just noticed the chips on the right side are all rearaged compared to the MV1-F! Interesting how there is no mention of that model on hardmvs...

yea thats the first thing i noticed mabey i have a rare board lol
it strange also i dont know if all 1 slots have this but in my soft dip i can set region and im quite shure it does not have the unibios

its probaly just a later revision of the 1f

i got the board from a old sega gremlin congo bongo cab that had been converted
this what it loked like when i got it


and after i pulled the board it looked like it was brand new (mabey a bootleg mv1f lol)
