I can't belive I'm doing this, but in truth I'm running out of space and I already have another 2 4 slot MVS cabs, so I'm selling this one 'cause I just added a fabtek vert woddie to my collection and I've been wanting one for a long ass time, however I cannot bring it in 'cause I'm out of room and after lots of thought I decided to sell this cab as I already have a rev 1 and a MVU4.

My goal was to own all the US 4 slot revisions, but I just gotta get a little more practical you know? However I'm only considering decent offers as I can always place it in storage and use it later when I have my basement ready for action.

I've restored the CP completely. The overlay is the original, but it has been covered in plexi and it looks ace, I sanded and painted this sucker long ago and still looks like it just came out of the oven. The monitor looks great but a cap kit wouldn't hurt as it would look so much nicer with it, I've done it to other monitors and it pays in spades.

Everything is clean and the side art is decent enough as there is next to none problems with it, however it is a used cab of course so there are some dings here and there, but nothing obvious to the commoner. The board is in great shape and the cover is minty as hell, the cab comes with manual and there is nothing missing at all except for the Memory card sticker which had to be removed in order to restore the cab, but I'm working on making some stickers for it, so I'll hook you up later with it.

The original CP overlay has a few dings on it, but with the plexi over it you can barely tell, the plexy has a couple scratches from people that don't know what the hell they're playing with, but they are minimal, I'm just an anal retentive fuck that can notice just about anything wrong with...anything!

All the other features not mentioned work prefectly except for the Marquee EL panels as we all know those die after 5 years or so, so no cigar on that, but the memory tray, the credit leds and the coin meachs and lights are all in perfect condition. The PSU is original and so is the monitor, the monitor is extremely sharp, but like I said it could use a cap kit due to some waving that can easily be avoided by turning the brightness down, but again I'm anal and I want everything perfect, so perhaps this is something you can deal with or not.

It is the cab on the right, all controls are new and better yet you have some choices here; I can put 2 super joysticks or 2 sanwa JLW sticks, also for buttons it has convex competitions buttons in it, but if you rather concave I can arrange that no problem, so there you go!

Again only decent offers will be accepted and remember this cab is clean and restored. The bezel is missing in the pic, but I have placed a bezel in there so no worries there.

Here's the CP after restoration.

OK there it is, again keep in mind the price you will pay for a cab like these and then add properly the amount of work done and parts put into it.
Perfect timing for christmass too! I'm in no rush to let this go, so keep that in mind too.

Take care and thank you all in advance for the interest.

Today history has been made......EG is actually selling a cab

Man it seems like just the other day I was on the Maiden stool in front of
this sweet cab. Everything looked great to a "commoner" like me, clean
picture, kickin' CP and sharp paint.

We need to send her off in style after an epic day of Heinekens/Sams,
Bubba Burgers and Los Turfes

I know...I know! I really don't want to sell it, but the way I see it is like this; Is gonna be in storage all minty and nice and I just rather see it put to good use rather than all locked up looking pretty and all. So I'm just gonna wait for the right offer, but I honestly don't think it will sell, as you all know is christmass time and all of us are busy spending money in other people rather than ourselves.

I just gotta have my shmup woodie you know?! I have 2 candies that rotate, but still I want that feeling you can only get out of the wood cabs, everyone that knows me knows that's where my heart lies and now that I finally own a vert cab I just want to restore it and play some PCB's real bad! I might even get me one of them 48 in 1 so I can play the classics in all their glory!

The cab is a fabtek that was originally some seibu shmup, but it was converted to an Aero Fighters cab to later host Strikers 1945 II, so the cab has seen nothing but quality shmups and I'm just dying to throw Raiden in there and tear it up!

Like I said I might not sell, but if the offer is nice and I know the person or is someone nice I'll go ahead and sell otherwise is going to storage until I can arrange a sweet arcade set-up.

Beautiful machine! That cabinet is going to make someone very happy. For curiosities sake- have you thought about any price range you'd consider letting it go for? MVS cab pricing is all over the map :P

Lol- and I feel you on the wooden cabs. I won't ever have as many as I did when I first started- but some games just 'feel' better on wooden cabs :P

I agree with the wood cab idea. Only problem is it can be difficult to mount my favorite Japanese controls in a wooden cabinet, but the rock solid stability of a wood cabinet is hard to beat. Now if I could find a candy form factor wood cabinet with Japanese controls and a rotating monitor, all would be well in the world. Not to mention wood CP's cover alot of noise from the controls, that's for sure.

What is the world coming to???

That cab IS uber sexy! There's no way I'm getting that bad boy up my stairs and in my living room anytime soon though.

If you plan on selling your Q25, Mini Cute, Neo 19, or any of your candy cabs on the other hand. . .

Good luck with the sale buddy!!! Anyone that ends up with that cab is going to be extremely happy.

Thanks for all the kind words folks! I don't think I'll be selling the cab at less the proper offer pops up. I'm only selling this cab 'cause I want to move some cabs in here and I need the space.

Thanks again!

Thanks Chris, I hear you man, you of all folks here know exactly what I'm talking about, we kind of have almost the same collection when it comes to MVS cabs, except you have the mini (You devil!), I felt the same way when you sold the Goldie, but I understand how it is.

I'll hook you up with a stciker as soon as I have them ready, I'm gonna have some stuff printed on that nice material used for arcade overlays, so I'm gonna print me like 10 or so.

Wow sweet cab! Sorry to get off track but do you have a pic of the Neo 19? I have been looking for one forever so you are very lucky to own one.
