Hi, I have all the parts I need to build my CMVS 2 slot.

However, I'm wondering how most people mount the jrok in their case.

thanks,

King.

Hi there what's a CMVS 2 (I think we're talking video) and a jrok?

kpj screwed one corner of the Jrok into one of the corners of the memory card slot on mine and glued it in. Seems to work fine in that spot.

I usually just use panel mount jacks as it's cleaner and nicer looking and easier as well. But like Neo Alec said, it would have to be mounted to the casing very securely. You need to drill and cut the case if you want to use the onboard jacks.

I was talking about panel mount jacks, not the onboard jacks. The Jrok is secured to the end of the memory card assembly on the inside.

No, it never occurred to me to snap a picture while I'm in there, sorry. I'll try to remember to next time (I don't keep my MVS where I live anymore). It's really not interesting. It's more like it's just in there with the board at whatever point he decided it made the most sense to put it. I've always imagined most CMVS's have something similar.

thanks guys. I'll see if the component jrok can be mounted overtop the memorycard reader. Think it should work.
