Hi

Just recently ive been getting into really old retro games , mainly ms pacman and donkey kong , but ive noticed playing on a normal pad or stick is difficult so id like to make a proper stick for these games , same as you would use in the arcade , i take it id need a proper 4 way stick , also id like to use it on 360 and normal xbox so might have to make up 2 , i was thinking of using a dremcast stick for my normal xbox and a magic box and maybe one of those hori sticks for 360 like this

but im not sure how difficult these are to mod , ive modded a few DC sticks before with JLF sticks and sanwa buttons but i dont know what spares to use for these old games and whether its pos to do.

Thanks

well im unshure about the xbox 360 but ultramark has kits to convert their ipac to bolth the original xbox and the dreamcast

so all you would need is a nice switching joystick (switch 4-8 way ) some happs buttons

and some plywood to make the controller housing and then your ready to go

again like i said unshure if they have a 360 setup yet but a cp built this way can be used on original xbox .dreamcast, and pc

here is some links to some parts
i/jpac converters
http://www.ultimarc.com/console.html
and i use groovy game gear for the sticks and buttons ive found they are almost always cheaper than the other online arcade parts stores
this stick is pretty expensive but it switches from 4/8 way without taking appart

or the cheap one that i use in all my machines (gotta take it appart to switch 4/8 but jey under 10$ shipped you cant beat )
