I am hooking up a new power supply to a 4 slot cab, and I am brand new to cab building.

Everything else powers up, but i get nothing out of the monitor.
I have the correct hookup from my ATX to the transformer, then out to the monitor.

Is there any way to test the monitor to make sure it still works? It is the only thing that doesnt appear to be powering on. What are the troubleshooting steps i should be taking more or less? One easy thing would be to test the line out of the transformer, but i my multimeter was on the fritz.

what monitor model number is it,if this requires an iso transformer and you power direct from mains then you may blow the crap out of it

no it definitely goes through the transformer.

Im pretty to new to this. so wiring this cab from start is kind of a daunting task.

almost everything checks so far, just need to get this screen going. I can add credits, speakers power on, and main board maybe.

The marquee doesnt light up, so im not sure what's going on up there.

starting from scratch with just the flyer layout is very slow going.
