Hello, everybody.

I am trying to figure out an easy way to mount an ATX power supply. Does anyone know where I can get some mounting plates, brackets, or screws for them?

Any assistance in the matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Into what? A cab?

Home Depot. You can use metal strips and mount them to the side, assuming it's wood.

Good old fashioned L brackets. Get some galvanized ones so you don't see 'em rust as fast.

You'll need some coarse threaded screws for the wood side and some PC case screws for the power supply side to get it mounted in place.

That's the way I'd go...much easier to get the brackets locally and cheaper too.

Here is the problem. Most ATX power supplies seem to have the holes in the case for the mounting screws on the same side that the power switch and PC power cable plug. This is fine if it is facing a hole cut in the back of the cab. But it doesn't help if you are trying to mount it inside the cab elsewhere.

Just strap it down...
