Info on a MVS 2 Slot Philips Monitor

Allright so Ruell swapped out my old monitor with one he had from another neo cab, I assume these are both normal and the common monitor for neos? Im not sure.


It has the 6 white knobs on the back to adjust it, and also 2 black knobs off to the left of these. Can anyone tell me what they are in order? And what the 2 black knobs are? One seemed like it was sharpness or something like that.

Right now the only issues I am having is white isnt really very white at all. and if you turn up brightness on the knobs it starts bleeding color badly(the ones on the mini board inside the cab not off the actual monitor)

Im new at this still so Im sure none of this shit is called by proper names. Is there a place I can find a manual or maybe someone else that has the same monitor that just knows a lot about it.

Philips M08X is what it says on the sticker, then a lot of other numbers, not sure what ones the real model number. Thanks

Philips do not make arcade monitors, they have however manufactured CRTs.
the number you quoted is probably off the tube. There will be other #s like 68X123
The actual monitor is likely to be a WG.

The six pots are RGB gain and bias. Try trimming the gain pots to adjust gray scale.
Regarding the two "black knobs" top is focus, bottom screen voltage (will adjust brightness - if turned to high (clockwise) you will see retrace lines, back it off.

Tip - mark the position of the pots with a texter so that you can return to the original settings if all turns to shit.
