I was sitting here listing to MS4 sound track and while i realise its one of the weakest ms in the series it frankly has one of the best soundtracks on the neo.

So whats your favorite ms as far as music is concerned.

Without a doubt:

MS5

The soundtrack alone is worth the price of admission.

Metal Slug 2 for me. The Stage 1 music always gets me into "gamer mode" so to speak.

I honestly think people are just picking there favorite Metal Slug game and not really just considering the music here -_-

Because id except 5 to be doing better than it is. X and 5 would be what I figure everyone is choosing but it seems to be just X.

Clessy, I agree. While 4 lacks that MS spirit, it really does have the best soundtrack. The tunes are just really catchy and want to make you play harder.

MS3 probably has the best soundtrack IMO. The jetpack scene and the launch into space do it for me.

One of the underwater sections in Metal Slug 3 has a really awesome track. I think it's only played at that point too.

I'm thinking it's if you take the first alternate path in Mission 3 (through the pipe). You immediately get a Submersible-Slug. I'm pretty sure it's not in Mission 1.

Anyway, rocking ass track.

MS3 has good music, but I really dig MS5.

MS2 has music that fits really well with the levels, particularly Mission 1, Mission 2, and Mission 4.

Mission 2's music is almost creepy when you get to the tower section.
