My MVS-U4 came with one of the sticks either modified or replaced. The guy I bought it from mentioned kids in the arcade swinging from the sticks so I'm sure it's at least had some work done ...
The other stick is definitely a Seimitsu LS-32 and this one is very similar, but not close enough to use the restrictor. It looks identical from the top but the spring is much stiffer and the plastic sleeve around the shaft is black instead of that light blue color the LS-32 has. Finally, the switches all have 3 connectors on them (one extra for normally closed, I guess) where the LS-32's switches only have 2.

Any ideas? Aside from not being able to use the restrictor, I think I might like this one better and might try to track one down to replace the other stick.
