Best/Worst endings in a NEO game..

I wanted to know what everyone thought was the BEST ending to a Game and the WORST ending to a NEO game....from what I played here is my Opinions...

Lamest ending- Super Spy, and the Edit Team ending for any KOF (it's even lamer on the Saturn KOF'96, where you get treated to a LOVELY lock-up! :P )

Best ending- AOF (you see Yuri and she says "Stop, (Robert/Ryo)! That man is..." and there's the cliffhanger.), and the KOF regular team endings (except 98).

Totally agree!!! That's why I spent lots money at Arcade and then bought AOF AES version at full price (at that time I was a poor college kid but I must to have this game for sure).

Worst Ending- Sengoku
Best Ending- For best ending it was a tie between two KOF endings-KOF 96- Iori`s ending with Mature and Vice(Riot of the Blood)!And KOF 97, the edit team of Chizuru, Kyo and Iori!( Both Kyo and Iori teamed up to kick Orochi`s ASS!)

As lame as it sounds, I haven't beaten a Neo game in a while to remember, but I would have to say Samurai 2.

Worst-

While its not an ending, at the end of Cyber-Lip when you fight the last boss or something, it says some like "I am not insane. I've just been evily reprogrammed." Not only lame, but funny!

Metal Slug 3's ending was terrible because it wasn't as good as the others, and that it said "The End" at the end, hinting that there will B no more MS games.

Best: MOTW
Worst: KOF 98

I tend to dislike games that have no storyline/ending, and KOF 98 fits into that category nicely--if not, KOF 98 would have scored better in my book. Just about everything is perfect. I know that it is a "dream title", but at least they could have spiced the ending a bit. That's why, I don't consider RB2 ending bad. Though short, some of the endings like Mai & Andy are funny.

As for the best ending, MOTW is one of the best, in my opinon. It's even better than other great titles like LB2.

so one of the worst endings in my opinion is view point, for trying years and years to beat that f...ing hard game and getting nothing but a ship flying away and an ugly looking explosion!

ss4 (especially haomaru and genjuro)

KoF '99 and 2000 (not just the endings, the story as well)

and by the way,
i like the superspy boss for his resemblance to GEESE!!

, but the game IS boring indeed.

Actually DigiPunk, it says "The End" at the end of all the Metal Slugs. So really, it doesn't mean much of anything.

Metal Slug 1 & 2 both have great endings though.

Top Hunter had horrible gameplay, but had a good ending.
